June 7, MINSK. Two new beaches will be opened in Minsk by Independence Day, Dmitry Staselko, chairman of the Minsk city organization OSVOD, told reporters, BelTA has learned.
“Today, there are 21 city beaches and they are operating. They are equipped with all the necessary equipment, the conditions comply with sanitary standards, our crews are constantly on duty at all these beaches. Among the innovations for residents and guests of the capital, I would like to add that it is planned to open in July on the Day Independence of two more new beaches - on the Tsnyansky reservoir and the Drozdy reservoir," Dmitry Staselko said.According to him, the beaches are equipped with video surveillance for better control over vacationers. "All city beaches are already equipped with sound alerts, which allows us to carry out high-quality preventive work aimed at the safety of people on the water," the chairman of the organization said.
A big problem is the death of people in places prohibited for swimming. “If we take the statistics of past years, then 80% of the dead ended up in these places. Work to prevent death was organized jointly with the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It will be carried out as raid events. not just a desire that does not bear any responsibility. This is an administrative article, the sanction of which entails the imposition of a fine of up to 3 basic units. Therefore, when carrying out raid activities by employees of the Department of Internal Affairs and we will pay attention to being in a state of intoxication and to swimming in prohibited places," Dmitry Staselko added.
