March 28, Minsk. Domestic conflict between cohabitants in the Dzerzhinsky district led to the murder of a man. This was reported to BelTA at the USC in the Minsk region.

According to the investigation, on the afternoon of March 27, the ex-husband came to visit a 41-year-old resident of the village of Energetikov, Dzerzhinsky District, and found her roommate in the apartment with no signs of life. It was previously established that after drinking alcohol, a woman had a quarrel with a new lover on the basis of raising a child from her first marriage. During the conflict, she grabbed a knife and stabbed a 45-year-old man in the chest, from which he died on the spot. At the time of the crime, the 14-year-old child was in the next room, so he did not witness the murder. The woman was detained by the police.

Investigators and specialists of the SCSE examined the scene, recorded a trace picture, and also appointed expert studies. The Dzerzhinsky District Department of the Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 139 (murder) of the Criminal Code. The suspect is currently under investigation.

The criminal investigation is ongoing.
