In the Nikiforovsky district of the Tambov region, a new robotic farm for 200 cows is being built. The volume of investments under the project will amount to 160 million rubles and includes, in addition to the construction of a new farm, the reconstruction of a cowshed building for 650 heads and the purchase of two more robots.

In 2018, as part of the modernization of production at this enterprise, a robotic dairy farm for 460 heads of dairy herds was put into operation using modern technologies, six robots are already in use. Now a new investment project has been launched, within the framework of which two more milking robots will be installed here. The amount of investments has already amounted to 120 million rubles. The agricultural enterprise pays attention to breeding work with livestock, uses modern technologies, and uses a high-quality forage base. All this helps to achieve high production results. So, according to the results of 11 months of 2021, the productivity of the dairy herd increased by 5% compared to the same period last year.

Note that the company was founded in 2005 in the Nikiforovsky district. Directions of activity - cultivation of sugar beet, sunflower, corn, barley, soybeans, wheat. In addition, the enterprise is engaged in the production and sale of livestock products ( milk , meat), is a breeding farm for breeding dairy cows.

According to the Department of Agriculture of the Tambov Region, 22 agricultural enterprises and 96 peasant farms are engaged in dairy farming in the region. In the Tambov region, a roadmap has been developed to restore and increase the number of dairy cows. Experts note that the task of stabilizing milk production is planned by updating the herd, increasing the number of cows, creating a forage base, reconstructing and modernizing existing farms, building new dairy farms and complexes.

In the current year, agricultural producers of the region purchased more than 1,000 heads of breeding young animals of the dairy direction.

About 260 million rubles of state support were allocated to support dairy cattle breeding in 2021.
“For the Tambov region, which is an agricultural region, the digitalization program for the agro-industrial complex is of great importance,” notes the head of the Tambov region, Maxim Egorov. “Smart greenhouses, smart farms are already working effectively in the region, the latest technologies are being used in the work of the smart field. All the modern technological solutions being introduced will only contribute to a further increase in production, an increase in labor productivity in all areas of the region's agro-industrial complex.”
