A greenhouse complex on 80 hectares will be built in North Ossetia

A greenhouse complex for the production of tomatoes with a total area of ​​more than 80 hectares will be built on the territory of the Prigorodny district of North Ossetia. This project was included in the top five priority areas included in the model of economic development of the republic until 2030.

The initiator of the project is Alania Greenhouse Complex LLC. As Dmitry Khaleev, General DIRECTOR of the enterprise, explained, at the moment, contracts are being concluded for survey work (study of environmental conditions and anthropogenic impact factors for the rational and safe use of territories), then the development of design estimates and examination will be carried out.

The start of construction of the greenhouse complex is expected in October this year, completion - by the fall of 2024. The volume of greenhouse production after reaching the design capacity will be almost 34 thousand tons of agricultural products per year. it is expected to create 860 new jobs. The total cost of the project is about 15 billion rubles.

The new greenhouse complex will provide the republic and other regions of the Russian Federation with high-quality, export-oriented, competitive products.

Earlier, the HEAD of North Ossetia Sergey Menyailo presented the model of economic development of North Ossetia-Alania until 2030 to the Prime Minister of RUSSIA Mikhail Mishustin. Among the designated projects in priority sectors for the republic, Sergei Menyailo singled out five "breakthrough" projects capable of bringing the republic to a new level of development and giving the maximum economic effect.
