Livestock production increased in the Ivanovo region in the first half of the year.

From January to June 2025, gross raw MILK production in the Ivanovo region increased by almost 5%, livestock and poultry by more than 3%, and eggs by more than 9%.
In the first half of the year, farms of all types produced 26.4 thousand tons of livestock and poultry, a 3.2% increase compared to the same period last year. This positive trend was driven by increased pork production.
Gross raw milk production increased by 4.7% to 85.1 thousand tons. This growth trend in dairy farming is driven by the construction of new dairy complexes and new opportunities for processing raw materials. Thus, in 2025, four new dairy farms were commissioned in the Ivanovo, Rodnikovsky, and Shuya districts, and eight more enterprises are building new livestock facilities. In the Rodnikovsky District, with support from the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, construction is underway on a livestock complex for 1,460 HEAD of cattle with a production capacity of 12,600 tons of milk per year—the largest investment project in the agricultural sector this year.
Egg production increased by 9.4% to 228.1 million eggs. This increase was made possible by the reconstruction of production facilities and the replacement of production equipment at the region's poultry farms.
State support instruments, including preferential working capital and investment loans , as well as direct federal and regional support measures, contribute to the stable development of livestock farming.
