Fodder procurement continues in Lipetsk region

Already 13 districts and regions have started mowing grass.
"At the moment, 7.4 thousand hectares of perennial and annual grasses have been mown. 9 thousand tons of hay and more than 49 thousand tons of haylage have been prepared," - reportedMinister of Agriculture of the Lipetsk Region Ekaterina Markova.
For comfortable wintering of livestock in the region, coarse and succulent feed, as well as grain fodder, are being prepared. The need for coarse feed for the winter-stall period of 2025-2026 is almost 335 thousand tons. it will be necessary to prepare over 400 thousand tons of succulent feed. 155 thousand tons of grain fodder will also be required.
