As part of a working trip, the director of the regional department of agriculture and food of the Ivanovo region Denis Cherkesov visited the farm of Sergei Orlinsky on Monday, February 20.
Farmer Sergei Orlinsky is engaged in growing tulips, seedlings of vegetables and flowers in a greenhouse. Denis Cherkesov inspected the greenhouse facilities and discussed with the farmer the issues of production and sale of products.
Sergey Orlinsky said that he has been growing tulips since 2021. I started with 1.5 thousand pieces. This year, 15,000 tulips in ten different colors have been grown for International Women's Day. Next year, he plans to increase this number and please the inhabitants of the region with new varieties. After the tulip season, the farm is engaged in seedlings of vegetables and flowers.
The farmer sells his products through social networks, corporate orders are accepted. Tulips will also be available at the Farmer's Fair dedicated to International Women's Day, which will be held on March 4 at the Yasen shopping mall.
Sergey Orlinsky graduated from the Farmer's School educational program in 2021, and in 2022 he won the competitive selection of Agrostartup grant recipients. With the help of a grant of almost 1.9 million rubles, Sergey Orlinsky is implementing a joint project for the year-round cultivation of basil, herbs and salads using the aeroponics method.
