Soybean yield in the Lipetsk region this year is more than 50% higher than last year

Lipetsk farmers use every fine day to harvest a decent harvest this year.
Rapeseed harvesting is almost complete. 114 thousand tons were harvested from 58.5 thousand hectares. The yield of this oilseed crop exceeds last year's by 17% and amounts to 19.5 q/ha. Over 60,000 hectares were sown with rapeseed this year. Soybeans are threshed in 13 districts. At the moment, 44.7 thousand tons have been received from 19.2 thousand hectares. The average yield in the region is 23.3 q/ha. This is 56% higher than a year earlier, when 14.9 centners were collected from one hectare. In total, more than 125 thousand hectares are allocated for soybeans in the region in 2022. Both soybeans and rapeseed are expected to have the best performance in the history of the region. Sunflower is harvested in 6 districts. From 5.4 thousand hectares, 13.6 thousand tons were obtained with a yield of 25 centners / ha. In total, farmers will have to harvest almost 200 thousand hectares.
So far, the harvesting of corn for grain has begun only in the Chaplyginsky district. As of September 26, 2.7 thousand tons were collected. The yield is 68.5 q/ha. In total, Lipetsk farmers will have to harvest corn from 79,000 hectares. The figures for harvesting lupine remain the same. From 57% of the areas allocated for this high-protein additive to animal feed, 6.6 thousand tons were obtained. In total, over 3.6 million tons of grains and legumes have been harvested to date. The yield of these crops is 33% higher than last year and is 49.9 centners per hectare.
SUGAR beet harvesting is in progress in 16 of the 17 districts where this crop has been planted. 827 thousand tons have been dug up. The yield exceeds last year's by more than 24% and amounts to 399.8 c/ha. Agrarians of the Khlevensky district collect 611.5 centners per hectare. This is the highest rate in the region.
Potatoes in the organized sector are harvested in 9 districts. it received 55.5 thousand tons. Corn for silage is currently harvested 220 thousand tons. Winter crops were sown on 214 thousand hectares out of 363 thousand allocated for them.
