The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia conducted a selection of applications for the Agrotourism grant in 2023. The ministry received 223 applications from 63 regions. As a result of the selection, 73 projects have been identified in 50 subjects that will be able to receive state support. The total amount of federal funding for the next year will be 500 million rubles.
In the Tomsk region, the grant "Agrotourism" in the amount of 7.5 million rubles will be received by LLC "Northern Garden". The total cost of the First Berry project, developed by entrepreneurs, is 10 million rubles. The remaining 2.5 million rubles will be invested from the company's own funds.
The tourist project provides for the construction of a pavilion with a capacity of 40 people, the improvement of the territory, the creation of a children's entertainment area, as well as one new workplace and the development of a marketing strategy.
Tourists will be told about industrial gardening and the benefits of consuming berries during excursions and training programs. Tastings and master classes on growing berry crops and preparing food from fresh berries will also be held here.
The project implementation is planned for 5 years. It is expected that by the end of 2027, the company's income will increase by 2.4 times due to the growth in sales of seedlings, fresh berries and products of its processing in connection with the formation of a stable tourist flow.
The project will be implemented on the territory of the enterprise in the village of Kandinka, Tomsk region.
