A new investment project in the crop industry has begun work in the Krasnokamensky district of Transbaikalia. LLC "Zhishengchan" started agricultural activities, which attracted investments from the PRC. This was announced by the head of the regional Ministry of Agriculture Denis Bochkarev.
“This year the company plans to sow on an area of 6,000 hectares, of which 5,000 hectares will be sown with sunflower and 1,000 hectares with oats. In addition, the agricultural organization plans to raise clean fallows for the 2024 harvest on an area of 6,000 hectares. According to operational data, at present, the enterprise has sowed sunflower on an area of 1.8 thousand hectares and raised 1 thousand hectares of pure fallow,” the minister said.
To date, Zhishengchan LLC has employed eight local machine operators. Also, 20 Chinese citizens work on sowing and processing . The investor brought in new equipment for field work and uses satellite monitoring. In addition, it is planned to deliver new harvesters and trucks. In this regard, a recruitment of machine operators and drivers will be held.
