The main topic of the event was the training of personnel in the agro-industrial complex.
Deputy Governor of the Lipetsk Region Igor Kremnev, opening the meeting, noted that the past year was not easy for our farmers: rainy autumn, which prevented the full harvest and completion of winter crops, falling prices for grain crops. This year, agricultural producers also face a number of problems, both arising from last year and new ones. “It is very important to jointly find solutions to all issues and prevent the growth of prices for agricultural products,” Igor Kremnev emphasized.
Oleg Dolgikh, Head of the Department of Agriculture of the Lipetsk Region, spoke about the results of the work of the regional agro-industrial complex in 2022. Even taking into account all the difficulties of the past year, the region showed very good results: they received a record harvest of oilseeds, the second grain harvest in the history of the region. The Lipetsk region is one of the 15 regions that ensure the country's food security in all areas. The region is a leader in the production of greenhouse vegetables, rapeseed oil, baby food products, yeast, sugar and other food products. It is very important not to slow down the pace of development and continue to work for the prosperity of Russia. The meeting also touched upon issues of state support for agricultural producers. This year, 3.2 billion rubles are currently planned to support the agro-industrial complex of the region. Almost 900 million rubles have already been transferred to farmers. In addition, agricultural producers will receive about 250 million rubles for grain crops grown and sold in 2022, as well as an additional 250 million rubles for grain grown and sold in 2023. State support will grow throughout the year.
Most of the time was devoted to discussing the problem of personnel for agricultural enterprises. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association Olga Korvyakova reported on the activities that are carried out with the involvement of members of the Association to eliminate the shortage of personnel: within the framework of the projects “I choose the village” and “Career Days in the Lipetsk Region”, meetings were held between managers and specialists of large agricultural enterprises in the region with students of specialized secondary agricultural educational institutions of the Lipetsk region, the Yelets Agrarian Institute and the Voronezh State Agrarian University. During the meetings, students were told about working conditions, social guarantees, wages and were invited to work in agricultural enterprises. The Association also took part in the regional stage of the Open Championship “Agro. Business. Start". The competitive tasks were based on actual production tasks and situations of the enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of the Lipetsk region. The team of the Chaplygin Agrarian College, which represented the region at the federal level, became the winner.
Victor Shilov, the head of the Lipetsk representative office of the Voronezh State Agrarian University named after Emperor Peter I, voiced his vision of solving the problem with personnel for the agro-industrial complex. He is sure that now there is a struggle for personnel at all levels and in all directions. Enterprises need to change their approach to the problem of personnel, actively work with schools so that at an early stage the guys are interested in choosing a profession in the field of agriculture. Also, the participants of the meeting were told about the program "Personnel of the region" and labor protection at enterprises.
The Association of Agricultural Producers of the Lipetsk Region began its work in 2007. At the moment, it includes 38 large agricultural holdings. The Association represents and protects the interests of its members, and also ensures the active participation of enterprises in the implementation of regional and all-Russian target programs for the development of agriculture.
