The United States has imposed new sanctions against Belarus, according to the US Treasury website. The restrictions affected 20 people, 12 organizations and three aircraft.

The following were sanctioned:

the middle son of the President of Belarus, Dmitry Lukashenko (he holds the post of chairman of the central council of the Presidential Sports Club and is a member of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus); Andrey Parshin, Head of the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption (GUBOPiK) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus; husband of the press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus Olga Chemodanova Denis Chemodanov; Deputy Interior Minister Dmitry Korzyuk; head of the State Border Committee of Belarus Anatoly Lappo; his first deputy Igor Butkevich and deputies Sergei Novikov and Igor Pechen; ex-chairman of the Ice Hockey Federation of Belarus, member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly Dmitry Baskov and others.

Among the organizations against which the United States imposed restrictions were:

JSC Electromechanical Plant AGAT, which develops automated control systems and electronics; exporter of weapons and military equipment "Beltechexport"; Belarusian Potash Company and Slavkali; 140th repair plant, engaged in the repair and modernization of armored vehicles; cargo airline "TransAviaExport"; Private security company "GardService", which is allowed to provide security services with the use of weapons; company for the development and production of optoelectronic products for military and civilian purposes "Peleng"; Presidential Sports Club; state tour operator "Tsentrkurort".
