The runway of Tyumen airport in cracks: flight delays are possible

The runway of Roschino airport in Tyumen was recognized as non-compliant. Problems were identified in its coverage.

The Ural transport prosecutor's office revealed cracks, and there is also erosion in some areas. According to the agency, this may cause delays in flights and other air events.

“The issue of bringing the coverage of the runway at Roschino Airport in Tyumen into line has been raised. Erosion, peeling of asphalt concrete is observed on it. There are cracks in the aircraft parking areas. All this does not meet the norms of the law,” the press service of the prosecutor’s office told URA.RU.

The department noted that the identified violations may cause violations of the rights of passengers. The prosecutor's submission was sent to the leadership of Roschino.
