For the first time in a month, a case of death from COVID-19 was registered in the Republic of Tatarstan

The day before, one case of death from a coronovirus infection was registered in Tatarstan. The previous one was recorded on July 7 of this year. In total, 58 new cases of infection were confirmed over the past day. The relevant information is published on the stopcoronavirus.rf portal. 

To date, 1,997 deaths have been registered in Tatarstan and 154,101 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified. 150,485 Tatarstan residents have recovered.

On August 4, in Kazan, an additional point of vaccination against a new coronavirus infection was launched again at the Yuzhny shopping center, which is open every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The first and second components of the Sputnik V vaccine are available at the vaccination station. On July 11, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov instructed to intensify work in the republic to strengthen collective immunity to COVID-19.

“In order to prevent an aggravation of the pandemic, it is necessary to intensify work on the vaccination of citizens. We see what is happening in Turkey, Italy, and other places of concentration of tourists - there the situation is not in the direction of stabilization, but on the contrary. Therefore, the issue of vaccination and immunity of citizens has been and remains relevant,” the President of the Republic said.
