
In the Novosibirsk region, two additional covid hospitals began to operate. They are located in the therapeutic building 25 of the hospital, as well as in the Ob Central City Hospital. The Minister of Health of the Novosibirsk Region Konstantin Khalzov spoke about this at a briefing of the operational headquarters on July 1.
“Over the past week, we have deployed an additional bed fund, given that the number of hospitalized patients has not yet decreased. Therefore, we are monitoring this situation, monitoring, deploying medical facilities as needed,” Khalzov said.
The minister also said that at the moment the Ministry of Health is considering the issue of re-profiling other medical institutions in the region. In particular, it is planned to open additional beds for patients with COVID-19 in the first building of the Novosibirsk Regional Clinical Hospital. As Khalzov noted, earlier this building was already equipped with additional oxygen points to provide medical care to patients with coronavirus.
Against the backdrop of an increase in the number of cases of COVID-19, the Ministry of Health of the Novosibirsk Region decided to open additional coronavirus hospitals in two hospitals in the city.
From June 18, additional beds for patients with COVID-19 appeared in the therapeutic building of City Hospital No. 1, and from June 19 in the surgical building of Emergency Hospital No. 2. Also at the end of June, the Novosibirsk Clinical District Hospital No. 1 in Koltsovo and the Children's City Hospital No. 6.
