Over the past 24 hours, 78 new deaths from coronavirus infection COVID-19 have been detected in Moscow . This was reported by the operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus infection.

The last time more deaths from coronavirus per day in the capital was recorded on January 19. Then 84 people died.

According to the operational headquarters, 9,056 new cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in Moscow per day, which was an absolute record for the period of the pandemic.
