In Moscow and St. Petersburg, a record number of patients with COVID-19 died per day

In both largest cities of Russia, a record number of deaths from coronavirus infection COVID-19 was recorded over the past day, according to data from the federal operational headquarters. In Moscow, 88 people died in a day, and in St. Petersburg  - 93 at once. There, many patients neither in Moscow nor in St. Petersburg died from COVID-19 in one day, not once since the beginning of the pandemic.

In general, 548 people died from COVID-19 in Russia over the past day, which was a new maximum since February 11.
