The Ministry of Education does not intend to force underage schoolchildren to be vaccinated against coronavirus and threaten them with non-admission to classes, said the first deputy head of the department Alexander Bugaev, TASS reports.

“No one will force children to do anything, we responsibly declare this to you. And, of course, this issue is not even on the agenda, ”he said.

Bugaev stressed that the lack of vaccination will not be a reason for not being allowed to attend school. At the same time, the fact that teachers have been vaccinated indicates a high civic duty and civic position of teachers, the deputy head of the ministry added. A “significant percentage” of school teachers have already been vaccinated, he said.
