In the Kaliningrad region, the number of infections with swine flu (AH1N1-2009) increased from four cases to seven in a week. This was reported by the press service of the regional Rospotrebnadzor.

Experts of the department note that all the patients did not receive flu shots.

“The increase in the proportion of influenza viruses is typical for all federal districts, which indicates a wide geographical distribution of influenza,” the release says.

As RBC Kaliningrad wrote, last week two adults and two children fell ill with swine flu - AH1N1. None of them were vaccinated.

According to experts, the symptoms of influenza and COVID-19 at the initial stage of the course of the disease are similar - fever, cough, joint pain, headache, loss of strength.
