
The further development of the actions of Russian forces in Ukraine can be measured in months, US presidential adviser Jake Sullivan said during a briefing at the White House.
He noted that the US administration cannot accurately predict the duration of the special operation. “First, I quote the “stage” of the conflict, as the Russians put it, was measured in weeks. The next stage can be measured in months or longer,” Sullivan said.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, in turn, announced the US intention to "support and strengthen the position" of Ukraine in negotiations with Russia, but only the Ukrainians and the leaders of the country will have to determine the conditions in the negotiations with Moscow. The support of the American side includes economic and military assistance, she specified.
“But in terms of negotiations and what would be convenient for them, we intend to support them, we are not going to prejudge this (the course of negotiations with Russia.),” Psaki stressed.
