RUSSIA was Pepsi's second largest international market after Mexico. it is reported by CNBC.

The company earned $3.4 billion in Russia in 2021, about 4% of its $79 billion in revenue. Last month, maker PepsiCo suspended sales of Pepsi, 7Up, Mirinda and other beverages in Russia. The company said that they would temporarily stop investing capital and all advertising activities.

According to the Yale School of Management on April 22, more than 700 American companies have reduced, suspended or ceased their activities in Russia, including Starbucks and McDonald's.

However, not all companies intend to leave Russia. More than 190 companies, including International Paper, Koch Industries and Emirates, continue to operate in the country.
