The region will receive 20 million rubles for medical examination of those who have recovered from COVID-19

The government of the Russian Federation will send 19.9 million rubles to the Kaliningrad region for in-depth medical examination of citizens who have recovered from the CORONAVIRUS. The corresponding order is published on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

In total, the federal authorities will allocate 5.8 billion rubles to the regions for these purposes. In-depth medical examination began in RUSSIA on July 1 and will take place in two stages. At the first stage, residents will undergo seven examinations: general and biochemical blood tests, measurement of blood oxygen saturation (saturation), a 6-minute walk test, spirometry (examination of the function of external respiration), a chest x-ray, and an appointment with a therapist. For those who have recovered from coronavirus, an analysis is added to this list to determine the concentration of D-dimer in the blood, which helps to identify signs of thrombosis.

Based on the results of the examinations, doctors will determine the risks and signs of the development of chronic diseases and, if necessary, to clarify the diagnosis, refer the patient to the second stage. it includes echocardiography, CT of the lungs and Doppler examination of the vessels of the lower extremities. If, according to the results of the medical examination, the patient is diagnosed with chronic diseases or the risks of their occurrence, then he will be provided with the necessary treatment and medical rehabilitation will be prescribed.

As RBC Kaliningrad wrote, in the state clinics of the regional center there is no way to take a free PCR test after leaving vacation. This procedure is carried out only for medical reasons.
