In Ukraine, a record was recorded for sick and dead from COVID per day

In Ukraine, 23,785 new cases of CORONAVIRUS infection and 614 deaths from covid-19 were detected per day , according to the Ukrainian Ministry of HEALTH. According to coronavirus statistics maintained by the National Security Council of Ukraine, these are the highest figures since the beginning of the pandemic.

Among the sick over the past day, 1,800 children and 391 health workers, the ministry said.

The previous record for the incidence was recorded the day before, on October 20 - 22,415 new cases. At the same time, a record daily death rate from infection was revealed - 546.

In addition, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine announced a new vaccination record. About 270,000 residents of the country were vaccinated during the day. In total, 15,386,831 vaccinations have been carried out since the beginning of the vaccination campaign.
