On Sakhalin, a doctor suspected of selling QR codes was suspended from work

In Sinegorsk, Sakhalin Region, the head physician of the local hospital, Mikhail Sushko, who sold QR codes, was suspended from work. This was reported in the press service of the regional Ministry of Health, the Sakhalin.Info portal reports.

According to the Ministry of Health, Sushko was removed from the leadership of the hospital for the period of investigative actions. The department clarified that investigations are being carried out against the head physician on the fact of checking the data on the possible falsification of vaccination certificates.

Currently, the hospital, which was headed by Sushko, is operating normally.

On November 21, Sakhalin.Info reported that employees of the regional department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs suspected the head physician of a hospital in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk of abuse of power. According to preliminary data, the head physician instructed his employees to include in the state information systems information about the vaccination of patients against COVID-19 , who did not visit the hospital and were not vaccinated, which allowed them to receive QR codes. After that, the unused vaccine was destroyed, the portal specified.
