On the opening day of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, one of the participants was diagnosed with covid-19 . According to the Nevskiye Novosti publication, a volunteer girl from Moscow received a positive test for CORONAVIRUS and was immediately taken by ambulance to a temporary hospital at Lenexpo. According to sources of the publication, she did not pass through the territory of Expoforum and carries the virus in a mild form.

According to the Fontanka publication, several computers with thermal imagers monitor the condition of the forum guests. Rospotrebnadzor explained that the sensor reads the temperature from the faces of people passing by. If he fixes a mark above 37.2 degrees, the forum member is sent to the doctors. Five ambulances are on duty in the Expoforum parking lot.

All guests and participants of the Forum will be hospitalized if they have a temperature or COVID-19. For this, the city has prepared a reserve of beds in 20 hospitals. The main site is the Infectious Diseases Hospital. Botkin.

Today, the governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov called the situation with coronavirus in the city difficult, but manageable: “From January to mid-May, both the incidence and the number of hospitalizations have been steadily declining. We have made plans to deploy additional infectious disease beds. We have strengthened control over compliance with the mask regime, social distance, and other safety standards.”
