A million for an amber. Kaliningrad plant sold raw materials

The Kaliningrad Amber Plant sold raw amber for a total amount of more than 1 million rubles, the press service of the enterprise reports.
53 lots with a total weight of 1,694 kg and a cost of 1,081,134 rubles were sold at an open auction. (including VAT).

"74% of all lots were sold at the auction, which were compiled according to the wishes of the auction participants weighing from three to 100 kg," the press service commented.

In 2022, 11 auctions are planned at the Amber Combine for representatives of large, small and medium-sized businesses, artists. More than 120 tons of amber are expected to be sold during the auction.

Earlier, RBC Kaliningrad wrote that the Kaliningrad Amber Combine (part of Rostec Corporation) froze selling prices for raw materials for Russian processors and manufacturers of jewelry, ornaments and souvenirs with amber for six months.
