The United States will not supply European countries with oil and gas free of charge. This was stated by RBC representative of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.
Peskov noted that while promising help, the US president urged the European Union "to be patient."
“Obviously, in this situation, he promised to sell liquefied gas and oil to Europeans at double the price. Accordingly, the Europeans have a real choice - either to pay in rubles at a price below the market price, under fixed contracts, or to receive "aid" at double the price from America," the press secretary of the Russian president said.
