Experts appreciated the idea of vaccinating 700,000 people a day against coronavirus

In RUSSIA, there is no effective campaign for vaccination against CORONAVIRUS, which would allow vaccinating 500-700 thousand people a day, experts interviewed by RBC believe.

Previously HEAD of the Center Gamaleya Alexander Gunzburg told Interfax that this number of vaccinated per day would be enough to achieve the required level of herd immunity.

“So far, I do not see an effective campaign to stimulate vaccination. This could not be done in a year, and it is unlikely that in the remaining conditional two weeks before the “wave” that everyone is waiting for, it will be possible to increase the level of vaccination,” Larisa Popovich, DIRECTOR of the Institute of HEALTH Economics, told RBC.

According to her, it is necessary to change the information campaign and look for methods that would encourage Russians to get vaccinated.
