On the eve of the lockdown, specialists from the strategic digital risk management company BI.ZONE discovered 3.2 thousand potentially malicious sites masquerading as online markets, the company said in a message to RBC.
According to experts, visitors to such sites are offered to choose a box with a prize, and then congratulate them on winning a smartphone and promise to deliver it in a few days. “In order to receive a prize, you need to send information about the draw to several friends via WhatsApp. As a result of “registration completion”, the victim is redirected to various potentially malicious resources,” the scheme was described in BI.ZONE.
