The head of the Pentagon called the four most important challenges for the United States

The CORONAVIRUS pandemic and Iran are among the top challenges for the United States. This was stated by US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin speaking in the capital of Bahrain at the Manama Dialogue conference.

“I would like to name the four most important challenges we face. This is a pandemic, climate change, terrorism and Iran,” said the Pentagon chief.

According to Austin, the United States is seeking to resolve the issue of a nuclear deal with Iran, but is ready to use any means to ensure its own security.

In May, the minister said that the United States is facing new threats to its security - a pandemic, terrorism and cyber weapons.
