Gunzburg appreciated the joint use of Sputnik Light and nasal vaccine

You can simultaneously get vaccinated against CORONAVIRUS with Sputnik Light and a nasal vaccine. This was stated by the HEAD of the National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology named after N.F. them. Gamalei Alexander Gintsburg, RIA Novosti reports.

“We often do [Sputnik Light and a nasal vaccine] at the same time, there is no harm to the body from this,” Gunzburg said.

Gunzburg reported on the properties of the nasal vaccine for the unvaccinated "Sputnik" Society

The nasal vaccine is the second component of Sputnik V, sprayed into the nose. This type of vaccine against covid-19 has no side effects, Gunzburg said earlier.

At the same time, the scientist argued that the drug could not replace an injectable vaccine, so it could be used for additional protection. The nasal vaccine, as he explained, will create another obstacle to the penetration of SARS-CoV-2 into the body, namely, it will provide protection at the level of the nasopharynx - "at the level of the entrance gate" of the coronavirus infection. Thus, a person who has been additionally vaccinated with a nasal vaccine will not be a spreader of the coronavirus.
