Labor rules success. How the agricultural enterprise "CountryMilk" develops in the Kobrin district

Topic news

The agricultural enterprise "CountryMilk" in 2015 went to the director Lyudmila Volokhova, to put it mildly, not the most advanced in the Kobrin region: with considerable debts and a team that has long lost hope for better times. In just five years, they are already boldly counting profits, buying new equipment and making plans for the reconstruction of farms.

Sixth spring director

Regardless of the season, Lyudmila Alexandrovna's working day begins at 7 am: sign documents, hold a planning meeting, and then drive and go about the housework. CountryMilk LLC is a small enterprise in terms of area - farmland of 3 thousand hectares, a dairy complex and two farms. The central estate of the economy is located in the agro-town Peski, just 10 kilometers from Kobrin. This is the sixth year that the director has been rushing here every morning.

- I like it when it turns out to arrive without haste, park the car and walk around the house, talk to the workers. Then drive to the field, look at the future harvest. I really appreciate such moments, - says Lyudmila Volokhova and recalls her first year as a director. “The tasks were not easy. First of all, it was necessary to assemble a team of responsible, competent and qualified specialists, and most importantly, people who were not indifferent to the common cause. And it did happen. I really appreciate in the workers their diligence and lack of indifference. Believe it or not, it is interesting for us to work on the land both in summer and in winter, increasing our results year after year.

The enterprise employs 140 people, and Lyudmila Volokhova considers everyone to be a specialist in her field: machine operators and combiners skillfully manage equipment, machine milking operators strictly monitor milk benefits, and livestock breeders pay attention to every gram of weight gain.

Machine operator Valentin Romanyuk was entrusted with a new harvesterAfter receiving a diploma, livestock breeder Marina Yushchik dreams of working in her native farm as a livestock specialistZootechnician-breeder Dmitry Kozak and head of the livestock department - chief veterinarian Oleg Mlechko - real specialists in agriculture

In a word, today the team of CountryMilk LLC is a real team of like-minded people.

“Farming is a very difficult job. But we try to help and support each other. We are here as one big family, in which mutual assistance is in the first place, - Lyudmila Alexandrovna smiles. – This year we have closed all overdue debts on leases and reached the repayment schedule. And once we simply did not have enough money to carry out the entire technological chain of sowing. We saved money at several stages, for example, we could do without one of the treatments. Now we cannot afford this - there is a technology and we follow it strictly, because it makes it possible to increase productivity. All thanks to the people who work at CountryMilk.

Harvest - to be!

Sowing campaign, by the way, this year went according to plan. At the moment, sowing of corn has already been completed, and the next step is the preparation of fodder.

- In general, winter crops endured the cold quite well. For this season, however, there are questions about triticale, in particular the Grenada variety. The drops are big. This variety is probably unsuitable for our latitudes, and even in the conditions of the past harsh winter, - considers the chief agronomist Gennady Rubel. - And so we sow standard and familiar crops for us: winter wheat and rapeseed, malting barley, corn for grain and silage, alfalfa, perennial grasses for feed.

Agronomists do not like to give forecasts for the future harvest, but Gennady Evgenievich did not rule out that spring crops should show themselves well this season.

– Weather conditions are suitable: coolness and abundance of rainfall. I will also give a good forecast for the yield of peas and spring barley. I think winter crops will not disappoint either.

With the advent of a new leader and an improvement in the financial situation, the economy began to actively update the machine and tractor fleet, replenishing it with new MAZs, a forage harvester, a sowing machine, tractors, trailers and other modern high-performance equipment. One of the latest acquisitions was a new generation self-propelled grain harvester - "Polesie" KZS-3219KR. In Belarus, this is only in a few farms.

- New technology is always a good help in work. And it immediately became more fun and interesting for machine operators to work, - the director notes. “Who doesn’t want to go all day without the slightest breakage?! It depends on the production, and consequently, wages.

plan = develop

The possibility of a speedy reconstruction of the dairy complex with the replacement of milking equipment is being worked out now. The farm has more than 2,000 heads of cattle, of which 910 are dairy herds. Milk yield per cow in 2020 amounted to 7,369 kilograms of milk. It has more than doubled in recent years.

The goal for this year is to increase the productivity of the main herd by 7%. The expected milk yield per cow, according to economists, should be 7896 kilograms of white gold.

We want to build and we need to build. The old buildings are long gone. I can say that, having got out of financial obligations, and this is over 36 billion rubles (before denomination), we can build optimistic plans, - says Lyudmila Alexandrovna. - Now we are discussing the issue of reconstruction of the milking parlor of the MTK "Peski" with its subsequent expansion. We plan to start work in 2022.

Planned for 2021

Milk per cow 7896 kg of milk

Procurement of fodder not less than 38 c.a. on a conditional head

Grain yield not less than 40 c/ha

The volume of gross harvest is 5800 tons of grain

Rapeseed yield not less than 36 c/ha
