“The products have appropriate documentation. At markets, livestock products undergo veterinary and sanitary examination, after which they are sold. We do not recommend buying livestock products in unauthorized places,” Gabdulkhak Motygullin, deputy head of the Main Veterinary Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, told RBC Tatarstan

. According to the deputy head of the veterinary department, today the peasant farm “Skokov N.A.” is in quarantine. The import and export of animals and milk has been suspended. The outbreak has been contained, further spread of the disease is excluded, all livestock from the mentioned farm will be slaughtered. After this, all barns, premises and territory will be cleaned, washed and disinfected. At the end of all eventsquarantine will be lifted.

“Across the republic, every year, twice a year - in spring and autumn, susceptible livestock are subjected to diagnostic tests for brucellosis,” said the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tajikistan, adding that farm animals in the region will not be vaccinated against brucellosis on a large scale.
