Thus, in the first quarter of 2024, 1.8 times more potatoes were exported from RUSSIA than in the first three months of last year. The supply of root crops increased by 2 times, and pome fruits by 3.4 times.

An impressive increase was recorded in the EXPORT of farm animals - 2.2 times.

Shipments  of cattle  increased 6.8 times. A significant contribution was made by Georgia, which in the first quarter of this year increased imports by 29 times, and exports to Kazakhstan increased by 17.5 times .

Georgia is also among the main importers of pigs. In three months of 2024, 1.3 times more heads were sent to the country than during the same period last year.

The supply of small ruminants increased by 3.4 times. The main share of small-scale exports went to Lebanon.

The volume of exports of lamb and goat MEAT increased by 2.4 times. Iran remains the main importer of these types of meat.

The supply of finished meat products has increased significantly – 1.5 times. Most of the goods were exported to Kazakhstan.

In addition, there is an increase in the export of food by-products due to an increase in purchases by Vietnam by 1.7 times.

Impressive volumes of supplies remain for poultry meat, which is purchased by CHINA , Saudi Arabia and Kazakhstan.

High indicators in the export of pork, which is purchased in significant quantities by Belarus and Vietnam . Over the past period, shipments of this product to Serbia have increased significantly – 2.6 times.

The export figures for dairy products remain traditionally impressive. The largest buyer is Kazakhstan, which increased its purchase volume by 1.3 times compared to the first quarter of 2023. Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan are increasing supplies - 2.5 and 1.6 times, respectively.
