Russia may introduce price indicators for beef and poultry

The proposal was announced by the ministry following the consideration of the report of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) on the formation of a system of indices. The Ministry of Economic Development also proposed to encourage companies to participate in exchange trading by providing preferences in the form of price fixing at the time of the transaction on the exchange to calculate the EXPORT customs duty, providing advantages in the transportation of goods by rail and discounting export customs duties for goods sold on the exchange.

Earlier in April, the FAS determined the list of goods for the formation of national indicators and sent it to the government. According to the list, price indicators are proposed to be introduced, including for pork, frozen fish, wheat, rye, meslin, barley, corn, SUGAR, soybeans, sunflower, rapeseed, sunflower oil, meal.
