The first multi-temperature refrigeration complex using CO2 refrigerant will appear near Vladivostok. The project is being implemented by Delta-Service.
The refrigeration complex is being built on a 14-hectare site near Artyom, a satellite town of Vladivostok. Delta-Service is a resident of the free port of Vladivostok.
To date, a refrigerator for 2,000 tons and a dry warehouse equipped with banana ripening chambers are already operating on the territory.
The central object of the construction is a multi-temperature refrigeration complex with a dedicated inspection area. Capacity - up to 8,000 tons. Carbon dioxide (CO2) will be used as a refrigerant. Modern technologies will ensure compliance with the temperature regime for simultaneous storage of various types of products in storage chambers: from seafood to fruits and vegetables in the temperature range of +15…–30°C.
“The commissioning of the new refrigerator is scheduled for the first quarter of 2022, but there are prerequisites that we will be able to launch the facility earlier,” said Evgeny Mylnikov, General DIRECTOR of Delta-Service LLC.
The complex is located near the federal highway with convenient access for heavy vehicles. The territory also has its own railway line with a link to the Artem-1 station.
By the end of 2021, an administrative and amenity complex will start operating on the territory, which will house the offices of the company's divisions, meeting rooms, a canteen for employees and other necessary infrastructure.
it is noted that after reaching full capacity, the refrigeration complex will provide about 150 new jobs, mainly for highly qualified specialists. The company intends to bear the costs of their training and retraining.
Already today, Delta-Service carries out wholesale and retail deliveries of MEAT, fish, seafood, chicken eggs and fruits in the Primorsky Territory and other regions of the Far East. Work is carried out directly with manufacturers. As the company develops, it plans to enter the provision of 3PL, 4PL logistics services - from delivery and address storage to order management and tracking the movement of goods.
“We plan to get all the necessary numbers to work for Europe and the Asia-Pacific countries. We will compete not on the basis of storage volumes, but due to the quality and range of services,” said Yevgeny Mylnikov.
