In the Chelyabinsk region, the number of livestock turned out to be lower than last year. This follows from the Chelyabinskstat data.

“By July 2022, the number of cattle is 239,400 heads. By July last year, this value reached 255,400 heads,” the study says.

The number of cows this year is at the level of 111 thousand 700 heads. While in 2021 there were more than 119 thousand. Pigs are the most common type of livestock in the region. To date, they number 847 thousand heads. Last year this figure exceeded 857 thousand.
