₽165 million allocated in Bashkiria to support livestock breeding

The Ministry of Agriculture announced the acceptance of applications for subsidies at a rate of 3.5 thousand rubles per conditional HEAD. Deputy Prime Minister of Bashkiria - Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov noted that the strengthening of their own breeding work, especially in dairy cattle breeding, is considered as the main criterion for the further development of the industry.
Currently, there are 81 tribal organizations in Bashkiria. State subsidies will contribute to the reproduction of livestock, an increase in the number of industrial farms and the improvement of livestock and poultry breeds. There is a base for intensive development of tribal business in the republic.
In addition, in June 2022, the deputies of Kurtulai of Bashkortostan adopted amendments to the regional law “On livestock breeding”, which expanded the list of persons entitled to carry out activities in this branch of the agro-industrial complex. Breeding livestock can now be carried out not only by specialized organizations, but also by peasant farms, as well as individual entrepreneurs without forming a legal entity.
