The new program goals include achieving an agricultural production index of 122.6% compared to 2021, as well as increasing food production to 124.2%. These figures are significantly higher than those previously planned, indicating a more optimistic view of the potential of the agricultural sector.

In accordance with the decree of May 7, 2024 , the President of Russia set the task for the agro-industrial complex to increase production by at least 25% by 2030 relative to the 2021 level. To achieve these ambitious goals, it is envisaged to implement measures to introduce modern technologies, improve product quality and increase business resilience to external economic factors.

Key aspects for achieving the planned tasks will be innovations and new technologies, necessary investments , training of qualified personnel and attention to environmental sustainability. The new approach to the state program is aimed at comprehensive changes in the agricultural sector, which will require joint efforts of all participants - from the state to farmers, to ensure stable growth and food security of the country.
