Ingushetia: in September, the Yuzhny poultry complex will release the first batch of turkeys

The Yuzhny poultry complex in the Malgobek district of Ingushetia received the first batch of turkey poults from 5,000 eggs laid in an incubator in early May. 

Under a project with an investment of 3.8 billion rubles in the village of Yuzhnoye, on an area exceeding 100,000 m², a farm was built for the production and deep processing of environmentally friendly halal turkey MEAT. 

The production complex includes 36 facilities - including poultry houses, a slaughter shop, an incubator, a deep meat processing shop, a feed mill, facilities for processing waste into meat and bone meal and fertilizers. High-quality and modern treatment facilities worth 86 million rubles were installed.

According to the HEAD of the republic, Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov, this year the enterprise plans to produce about 5,000 tons of turkey meat, and next year it will increase production to 10.2 thousand tons. Turkey will be used to make 30 types of products (chilled meat, sausages, sausages, pastrami, smoked meats) for delivery to Ingushetia and other regions of RUSSIA. The first batch will be released in September. 

Adam Kostoev, DIRECTOR of Yuzhny Poultry Complex LLC, said that the investment project has reached the last stage. In the workshops, equipped with modern European equipment, preparations for the launch of production began. 468 jobs have been created in Yuzhny.
