The expansion of competitive enterprises and the involvement of unemployed people in all areas of the economy is the only true way for the development of Transbaikalia. Such conclusions were made on February 4 during the report of the vice-premier of the government of the region, who oversees the Ministry of Economic Development, Alexander Bardaleev.
Online, under the chairmanship of the Governor of the Trans-Baikal Territory Alexander Osipov, the problems of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as building chains between large businesses so that the added value remains in the region, were discussed.
Alexander Osipov noted that it is important not only to give jobs to people, but also to provide decent working conditions.
“We need to help promote products to those who have learned how to produce them, sell them outside the region. As Peter the Great said, you need to sell and produce more, not buy. This is the key to the success of the state and any region. Where is the production of flour, pasta, semi-finished meat products in such packaging and packaging that could be massively dispersed in the regions of the Far East and Siberia? Even for our main product - meat, we cannot establish high-quality production. Large and small meat processing plants must be supported,” the head of the region emphasized.
Among the industries that need to be developed in the near future, according to the governor, are woodworking and dairy production. The head of Transbaikalia once again reminded the Ministry of Economy of the need to expand the network of filling stations, tourism, and pay special attention to the Ivano-Arakhlei zone.
“Measures to support entrepreneurs from the state should end with real changes in the economy and the social sphere. Every ruble we invest should give very clear results and have a multiplier effect. The driver and development of SMEs is the demand of large enterprises, which should primarily use the resources of Transbaikalia,” the governor summed up.
