A fisherman who fell through the ice was rescued in Svetlogorsk

January 5, Gomel. A fisherman who fell through the ice was rescued in Svetlogorsk, BelTA learned from the Gomel regional organization OSVOD.

The incident took place in Svetlogorsk on the Berezina River. "A man in a state of intoxication fell through the ice while fishing," the OSVOD said.

Divers of the Svetlogorsk rescue station pulled the man out of the water and brought him to the shore.

Rescuers on the waters remind: it is very dangerous to go out on the ice when the air temperature is above zero.
