19 drunk drivers detained in Minsk over the weekend

July 25, Minsk. Over the past weekend, 80 accidents occurred in Minsk. 19 drivers were detained for driving while intoxicated, 84 were fined for speeding. BelTA was informed about this by the UGAI GUVD of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

Employees of the traffic police suspended 111 drivers who did not have the right to drive vehicles. 170 motorists were involved for violations of the rules of passage of pedestrian crossings.

313 pedestrians violated traffic rules, 23 of them were under the influence of alcohol .

In addition, inspectors stopped 37 traffic violations by motor vehicle drivers.

The state traffic inspectorate calls on all road users to strictly observe the rules of the road and recommends remembering the safety measures on the roads.
