The incident happened on November 27 at 23.30 at a gas station. Traffic police inspectors detained a 34-year-old resident of the Klichev district, who was driving his car while intoxicated . During the proceedings on the fact of the violation, the driver and his drunken passenger, a 38-year-old local resident, tried to obstruct the law enforcement actions and used violence against the police officers.

A criminal case has been initiated against the men under Article 364 of the Criminal Code. "For violence or the threat of violence against a police officer in order to impede his legal activities, serious criminal liability is provided in the form of arrest or restriction of freedom for up to 5 years, or imprisonment for up to 6 years," the traffic police noted.
