In Grodno, a wife killed her husband with a knife out of jealousy

March 28, Grodno. The Grodno inter-district department of the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the murder of a local resident, BelTA learned from the press service of the USC for the Grodno region.

"The police received a message about the discovery of the body of a 32-year-old man without signs of life in one of the apartments in Grodno. It was preliminary established that the night before, a conflict arose between the deceased and his 36-year-old wife because of jealousy, during which the suspect stabbed in the heart A resident of Grodno died on the spot from the injuries received," the Investigative Committee specified.

The investigator, with the involvement of specialists from the UGKSE in the Grodno region, examined the scene of the incident, recorded a trace picture, assigned a number of expert studies on the seized objects and objects, interrogated the suspect and witnesses. It was established that at the time of the crime, the woman was in a state of intoxication . Previously, she was repeatedly brought to criminal and administrative responsibility. The couple is survived by six children, two of whom are 9 months old.

A criminal case was initiated against the woman under Part 1 of Article 139 (murder) of the Criminal Code. The suspect has been arrested and is under investigation. Currently, the issue of applying a preventive measure in the form of detention is being decided. The investigation is ongoing.
