October 29, MINSK. A car drove into a group of elementary school students at a kindergarten in the German city of Witzenhausen in the federal state of Hesse, according to Hessenschau.

According to police, two girls and a boy between the ages of seven and nine were seriously injured. Two rescue helicopters were deployed to transport the injured to the hospital.

The 30-year-old driver of the car also suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized.

The cause of the accident is currently under investigation. Police are investigating whether the driver may have been under the influence of ALCOHOL or drugs at the time of the accident.
