According to the woman, she drank several alcoholic drinks in a couple of hours and recklessly got behind the wheel. No one was injured in the accident.

The curiosity of the situation is added by the fact that shortly before the accident, she took part in a video conference with the families of the victims of drunk driving. After that, the mayor intends to step down from the board of the 2032 Olympic Games in Brisbane. But relatives of the victims of drunk drivers do urge her to leave her post.
