MINSK . A drunk driver in Orsha caused an accident involving four cars, BELTA learned from the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
"On March 22 at noon, the 43-year-old driver, driving a Mercedes-Benz, was driving along Mogilevskaya Street, near house No. 2, and drove into the oncoming traffic lane, where she collided with a Lada Vesta, a BMW, and a Ford Focus, and then continued driving, leaving the scene of the accident," the police department reported.
On Karl Marx Street, the woman was detained by the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Orsha Regional Executive Committee and taken to a medical facility for examination, according to the results of which
it was established that she was in a state of
ALCOHOL intoxication . The concentration of absolute ethyl alcohol vapors in exhaled air was 0.96 ppm.
Three administrative violation reports were drawn up against the driver. The car was placed in a penalty parking lot. The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate reminds about the inadmissibility of leaving the scene of an accident, as well as driving vehicles while intoxicated.
