May 5, Minsk . The capital's State Traffic Inspectorate reminds BELTA of the prohibition of driving while intoxicated. This was reported to BELTA by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

According to the law, the following are subject to liability:alcohol intoxication (a fine of 100 to 200 basic units with deprivation of the right to drive for a period of 3 to 5 years); a motorcycle driver - in the case of transporting a passenger who is intoxicated (a fine of up to 4 basic units); a pedestrian - for a traffic violation committed while intoxicated (a fine of 3 to 5 basic units).
