Drunk woman without rights detained with shooting in Kopyl district

Yesterday evening, the police received a message from a concerned citizen: in the agro-town of Bystrica, Kopyl district, there may be a drunk driver behind the wheel of an Opel . Traffic police officers found the car and signaled to stop. Ignoring it, the driver increased the speed and tried to escape. A pursuit began. At the exit from the village, inspectors used service weapons to stop the car. A aimed shot damaged the wheel.

The driver was a 31-year-old resident of the district center with obvious signs of intoxication. A medical examination showed almost 2 ppm of alcohol. It was established that the woman does not have a driver's license. Seven administrative protocols were drawn up, including for disobedience. The offender was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility; her car was confiscated and placed in a guarded parking lot.
